What is the Overall Screen Layout? #

Most screens in iBE.net are divided into the following elements:
- In the top-left is the main navigation bar with all your apps, as tabs. Clicking them opens a sub menu, from where user can select the desired application.
- “Search Everything” box, allows the user to search anything in the application. It has global search functionality and searches across the applications.
- This toolbar generally contains functions or buttons which work the same way across multiple apps – such as buttons to create a document, copy a document and save a document. If you mouse-over any button a tooltip will explain in more detail what it does. Sometimes button have menus which come on mouse-over. More advanced and application-specific functions are generally in a menu under the far-right “More” button (down-arrow icon)
- These are the filters, when applied allows the user to filter out the data and display them in main grid.
- The title of the activity or task you are performing is displayed in large font at the top-left. A title starting with “Create…” means that you have not yet saved your document. After saving your document the title will normally change to “Edit…” or “Display…” if you are not allowed to change this data. Quick filters or commonly used actions specific to the activity you are in are displayed as links directly below the main title
- These buttons allows the user to export the grid data in the desired format. (Xls, Pdf, CSV)
- The main panel takes up most of the space and contains specific information on the activity you are currently performing.
